Accept International is an international NGO established in 2011, whose headquarters is located in Tokyo, Japan. The organization has been operating in Somalia, Yemen, Kenya, and Indonesia, and working on youth empowerment and peacebuilding initiatives in collaboration with various local stakeholders to break the chain of violence and realize sustaining peace in the world. In Kenya, we have implemented a number of projects of youth empowerment including income generation and rehabilitation of gangs and inmates in Nairobi, Mombasa, Turkana, Garissa and Mandera. Through comprehensive programs, such as counseling, entrepreneurship programs, life skills training, and dialogue sessions, we have enabled many vulnerable youth to achieve economic and social independence, and to develop their resilience against violence and radicalization.
