1. Description of the organization and its activities
Action for Social and Economic Progress (ASEP) is a Somali NGO (Registration No: 0304-A/2017) active in Somalia for over 20 years
The organiztion’s main sectors of intervention are WASH, livelihood, peace & governance in Jubaland and Gedo region, where only a few NGOs are present
Since 2012, ASEP is implementing several humanitarian interventions funded by the Somali Humanitarian Fund in Baardheere
Furthermore, ASEP works with other international organizations such as the German Federal Government, Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), and donor as CHF, TIS-USAID, IOM, and USIP
ASEP has offices in Kenya and Somalia.
