Development and Empowerment for Humanity (DEH) is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation founded in 2004 and based in Somalia to work with communities to break the vicious cycle of poverty through innovative community-owned solutions to achieve long-term wellbeing

Therefore, empowering and working with them is key to achieving sustainable economic progress, inclusive society, and environmental security
For the past 17 years, DEH has strengthened rural livelihood assets through innovative humanitarian initiatives, continuous community training, and knowledge transfer
We have responded to several humanitarian emergencies in South and Central Somalia by providing aid to the population affected by conflicts and natural crises with emergency relief, health care, nutrition services, clean water, and sustainable socio-economic programs in a multi-sectoral based approach
