Dexis Consulting Group (Dexis) has been subcontracted by ME&A to support the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s Global Health Evaluation Learning and Support Activity (GH EvaLS)
The Facility Surveyors will work in regional teams to collect data for the midterm evaluation of the USAID Digital Health Activity (DHA) based in Ethiopia
The Activity addresses the results and gaps of the country’s information revolution, supporting the goals of improving the quality of health service, people’s quality of life, and building a sustainable health care system
Set up in three regional teams (1
AA, Amahara, Afar; 2
Oromia, Somali, DD, Harari; 3
SNNP, SWE, Sidama), the Facility Surveyors for the midterm evaluation will survey health facilities, conduct key informant interviews (KIIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs) throughout Ethiopia
Each team member will provide feedback on the design and methodology of the assessment and provide local knowledge and context around the health sector in Ethiopia
The Facility Surveyors will be responsible for data collection, cleaning, analysis, as well as preparation of data collection tools and transcripts.
