PMWDO is a registered Non-profit Community Service Organization (CSO) registered in 2001 in Galkayo District of Mudug Region, Puntland State, Somalia
It was founded by a group of women professionals from the Minority groups as a response to the need for the provision of essential social services for the minority and marginalized persons and to give them a platform to champion for their fundamental rights as bonafide citizens of Somalia
For more than 18 years, we continued to offer community-based interventions and programs in the areas of Health, Education, Human Rights, Peace Building/Reconciliation, Emergency and Disaster Relief Mitigation.

PMWDO’s vision is to realize an equal and literate society where all members have access to basic education and primary health care services irrespective of their social background.
Our Mission
The mission of PMWDO is to improve the social welfare and build the capacity of marginalized minority women and children through provision of Primary Education, Health Care Services and Capacity Building Training in Environmental Management and Income Generation for the longterm sustainability of Development.
