SYV is a dynamic Somali non-governmental youth led organization established in 2016 by a group of passionate local professionals committed to elevating the youth living conditions in Somalia. Operating as a non-political, non-profit, and non-governmental entity, SYV is dedicated to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by communities, especially in the Southern states of Somalia. With a strong focus on sustainable livelihood programs encompassing youth development, peacebuilding, entrepreneurship, health, TVET education, and climate change mitigation, SYV employs participatory methodologies to ensure inclusive and impactful interventions. Recognized and certified by both Federal and State authorities, SYV is poised to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable populations, employing a vision of improved resilience, health, and sustainable livelihoods for the people of Somalia.
