  • Certificates of Origin, Insurance & Health and LC.
  • Commercial Invoice, Packing List & Bill of Lading.
  • Declaration Forms of AEO, Owners or Others.
  • Product Classifications and Commodity Coding Note.
  • Customs Notices, Declarations Via IT Systems(NCTS).

Module 3: Customs Valuation System

  • WTO/GATT Methods of Valuation for Imports.
  • Transaction Value and Other Five Value Methods.
  • WCO and Harmonized System (HS) Nomenclature.
  • Somaliland Customs Duty Valuation Methods.
  • Generalized of Systems Of Preferences (GSP).

Module 4: Customs Duty & Procedure Plans

  • Dutiable Goods Release in to Free Circulation.
  • Calculations of Basic Duty, VAT & Other Taxes.
  • Duty Exempted/Suspended Goods in Somaliland.
  • Difference B/w Bonded Warehouse & Free Zone.
  • Somaliland Customs Transit Goods to Ethiopia.
  • Horn of Africa Customs and Border Management.

Module 5: Berbera Free Trade Zone Operations.

  • Introduction to Berbera Free Trade Zone/Port.
