Somaliland maritime industry is growing rapidly and Berbera port is under massive transformation, Berbera port is going to be a transit hub to East African countries. Port investment creates more and more jobs of container shipping and Free Zone operations. This is first time, to offer such professional short courses for local graduates. - Stevedoring(THC) and Unlashing(Stuffing) Cost.
- Bill of Lading(B/L) Legality and Letter of Credit.
- Customs Clearance & Inland Haulage Charges.
- Shipping Line Cost Recovery & Third part Claims.
Module 4: Customs Clearance Management
- Somaliland Customs Policy and WCO Rules.
- Customs Tariff Book & Duty Calculations.
- Customs Documentations and Cargo types.
- Bonded Warehouses and Customs Brokers.
- Free Zone and Transit Cargo Processes.
- Regional Customs and Border Management.
Module 5: Insurance & Risk Management.
- Introduction to Marine & Shipping Insurance.
