Training Methodology

Our instructors at Shaqo Kaab Solutions have designed the Interview Skills and Techniques Training Course for individuals in seeking and wanting to secure everlasting careers. This course is an in-class session as participants from different countries and cultures participate and share their own interview “Do’s and Don’ts’s” experiences and challenges.

The delivery of this course involves group discussions and role-plays.

Module 3:         Types of Interviews

• Structured Interview.
• Semi-Structure Interview.
• Unstructured Interview.
• Initial Discussion and Information/Fact Finding.
• Telephone Connect.
• Behavioural Interview.
• Individual or Face-to-Face Interview.
• Group or Panel Interview.

Module 4:         Planning and Preparing for the Interview

• Gathering requirements from the position.
• Reading and understanding a job specification and description.
• Analysing the position and organisation profile.
• Making a list of questionnaires for practice role.

Module 5:         Common Interviewing Questions

• Strength and weakness of the applicant.
• Career goals of the applicant.
• Employment history.
• Experience-based questions.
• Hypothetical or scenario questions.
• Competency-based questions.
• Reason to want to join the organisation.
• Open-ended questions.
• Role play session (in-class).

Module 6:         Identifying Soft Skills in the Applicant

Module 7:         Final Course Exam

Course General Information

Certification: All participants will be awarded with a certificate upon successfully completing the course. Individuals who fail the final exam will be subjected to failed mark/incomplete of course and will not be awarded to a certificate.

Enrollment Deadline: September 9th, 2022 at 5pm

Course Start Date: To be confirmed at a later date.

Course Duration: 1 days (Sunday | 8am – 12pm)

Venue/Location: Damal Hotel, Hargeisa | Republic of Somaliland

Fees: The course fee is $15.00USD per participant. This price services participants from all sector (Government; INGO; LNGO; Private; and Individual). The course fee is inclusive of training materials, certification, and beverages. Please note, there will be no refunds, we expect you to attend the course.
