In this course, we will cover understanding and practically applying the concepts that are helping you land remote jobs. You will learn more about the nature of remote jobs and how to create an Upwork profile, propose the right job, increase the visibility of your profile, and understand how to request your payment after task completion. You will also learn some facts related to payment transactions in our country. Finally, you will know more about marketing yourself for employment, understand more about other freelancing platforms like LinkedIn, and know how to switch from freelancer employee to independent contractor.

Here is brief summary of my personal biography.
Khadar Abdilahi is a software engineer with a passion for the data science industry. I am the founder and current CEO of Hyndis, which is the first data solutions company in the region. I have a bachelor's degree in computer science in software engineering, and I am a candidate for a master's degree in monitoring and evaluation. I am also the director of policy and planning at the Somaliland Special Economic Zone Authority in Berbera Freezone. I have experience in freelancing, which was my first job after graduation. Upwork was the first platform that I worked on before I became an independent contractor. I have work experience in software development, database management, data analysis, business analytics, and BI report generation.
