    Job Title: Accounting Intern

    Department: Accounting

    Reports To: Accounting Manager

    Location: Mogadishu

    No. of Position: 3 (Three)

    Job Overview:

    Accounting intern will be responsible for assisting the organization’s accounting department in bookkeeping, accounting controls, ERP functional duties, review accounting transactions, prepare financial reports, take part client assisting activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The interns will be responsible to assist IT Manager with the following tasks:

    ·         Deploying,

    ·         Develop sound financial analysis and recommendations for a multi-week business case, ending with a final presentation to senior management.

    ·         Gain an understanding of various functional areas within finance and accounting.

    ·         Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.

    ·         Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.

    ·         Assist with month-end close procedures, including performance of analytic procedures to explain account fluctuations monthly account reconciliations.

    ·         Provide support on special ad hoc projects.

    ·         Work with various finance and accounting software to prepare and maintain accurate and complete financial records through data entry, as needed.

    ·         Responsibly handle and analyze data.

    ·         Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.

    ·         Provide high quality work.

    ·         Be curious and ask questions about our brands, procedures, and other information.

    Skills and Qualifications

    ·         Recent graduate from Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or business related degree.

    ·         Knowledge in Accounting cycles.

    ·         Great presentation skills and working in teams.

    ·         Computer proficient using Microsoft Office and common accounting software.

    ·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    ·         Self-motivation to take on new challenges and assume responsibility for personal growth and development.
