Specific Duties and Responsibilities

·         Plan, implement, manage, coordinate and control preventive maintenance for all assigned mechanical services by maintaining equipment.

·         Manage mechanical operations through maintaining regular diagnosis/ testing/monitoring variety of engines and tools.

·         Tests, services and repairs Engine’s and mechanical equipment.

·         Manage and Inspects adjusts and replaces necessary units and related parts in the performance of mechanical operations at the designated area.

·         Manage and supervise maintenance, servicing, part changes, repairing and all mechanical transactions.

·         Regularly evaluates status of mechanical equipment and Engines, and performs or schedules needs and repairs.

2.1. Conducts various analyses and inspections of Engine operation, functionality and mechanical systems to determine the most cost-effective means of maintenance, repair or replacement.

2.2. Request equipment, parts, and supplies used for Engines and mechanical systems

2.3. Provides emergency field assistance to disabled equipment as needed and appropriate.

2.4. Assists in the preparation of bid specifications for Engines and mechanical equipment.

2.5. Assists in the preparation and administration of mechanical budgets in conformance with adopted policies and procedures.

2.6. Processes repair orders and other specialized maintenance records of equipment and mechanical equipment.

2.7. Maintain emergency and disaster responsive contingency plans to respond all company equipment breakdowns.

2.8. Confer with concerning section regarding all repairs and the extent of repairs necessary order materials/parts required to complete the repairs.

2.9. Responsible to ensure all works is completed in a safe manner

3.       Meeting, Documentation and Reporting:

3.1. Call and chair all regular mechanical meetings, including those regarding mechanical training.

3.2.   Prepare and develop accurate documentation for all mechanical activities.

3.3.  Provide status reports on all mechanical operation activities on weekly, monthly and quarterly and as requested.

Education Qualification/Experience

·         Diploma in Engineering  or equivalent experience and training

·         Candidates with Degree in BCS will be highly considered.

·         Ten years of experience in the repair and maintenance of a wide variety of Mechanical technicians an equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         Working knowledge of automotive mechanics; working knowledge of gas and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, fire pumps and valves, generators, and welding; price trends and grades or quality of materials and equipment; working knowledge of the hazards and safety.

·         Precautions common to engines/ generator/ Engines maintenance and repair activities; working knowledge of the practices, methods, materials and tools used in modern equipment maintenance.
