VACANT POST: SCOPE Platform Coordinator
The African Children’s Rights Foundation (ACRIF) is seeking a proactive and highly skilled individual to join our team as a SCOPE Platform Coordinator. This role focuses on ensuring the seamless functioning of the WFP SCOPE platform by supporting staff in beneficiary registration, data security, and system efficiency. The Coordinator will mainly be responsible for troubleshooting system issues and providing timely on-site support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SCOPE Platform Support and Management
 Ensure the smooth operation of the WFP SCOPE platform in health facilities by providing support to health facility staff.
 Conduct routine system checks to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring tools and equipment are functional and up to date.
 Oversee data entry processes and ensure timely updates on the platform to maintain data accuracy and security.
2. Beneficiary Data Management
 Support health facility staff in accurately registering and updating beneficiary information on the SCOPE platform.
 Ensure compliance with WFP standards for data integrity and secure data handling.
 Coordinate biometric verification processes to ensure accurate beneficiary identification and minimize duplication.
3. Troubleshooting and On-Site Support
 Provide on-site support to health facilities experiencing system malfunctions, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively to minimize disruptions.
 Act as the primary point of contact for health facility staff needing technical assistance.
 Collaborate with WFP technical support teams to address complex system issues.
4. Training and Capacity Building
 Develop and deliver training sessions to health facility staff on the effective use of the SCOPE platform, ensuring they understand key processes for beneficiary registration, data entry, and system navigation.
 Provide ongoing support and mentorship to health facility staff to build their capacity in using the platform.
5. Equipment Management and Security
 Ensure that all equipment used for SCOPE activities, such as tablets and biometric devices, is securely stored, maintained, and updated.
 Implement data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive beneficiary information from unauthorized access.
 Monitor the secure handling of digital tools in compliance with organizational security standards.
6. Coordination and Supervision
 Lead and supervise SCOPE-related activities at health facilities, ensuring staff adhere to operational guidelines and timelines.
 Build and maintain relationships with health facility management, community leaders, and local authorities to facilitate effective program implementation.
 Conduct regular briefings to review progress, address challenges, and improve operational performance.
7. Monitoring and Reporting
 Conduct regular evaluations of SCOPE activities to ensure alignment with WFP guidelines and project objectives.
 Compile and submit detailed reports on key metrics such as registration status, system performance, and beneficiary feedback.
 Use data insights to identify challenges, assess impact, and recommend improvements for future operations.
8. Compliance and Standards
 Ensure that all SCOPE-related activities comply with WFP standards and humanitarian principles, emphasizing transparency, neutrality, and impartiality.
 Adhere to organizational protocols for managing sensitive data and handling IT equipment to maintain trust and accountability.
Key Competencies
 Strong understanding of digital platforms, with expertise in managing software and hardware components of beneficiary management systems.
 Proven ability to troubleshoot technical challenges and provide timely solutions.
 Proficiency in data management and ensuring data integrity within digital systems.
 Effective leadership and team management skills to oversee health facility staff and ensure successful implementation of SCOPE activities.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.
 Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality in all SCOPE operations.

Skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
 Previous experience of with the WFP SCOPE platform or similar digital beneficiary management systems is highly preferred.
 Strong technical skills in managing IT equipment and software.
 Fluency in English and Somali is required.
 Experience working with humanitarian organizations or NGOs.
