In pursuit of its strategic vision, Claysom is also spearheading an ambitious initiative to establish the first Coca-Cola manufacturing facility in Puntland. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Sales Manager is to lead overall sales strategy, supervise branch sales teams, and drive aggressive revenue growth across all operational areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and coordinate the company’s overall sales operations.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, targets, and growth plans.
• Supervise Sales Supervisors and Sales Persons across all branches.
• Monitor sales performance, market coverage, customer retention, and collections.
• Introduce and enforce KPI-based performance management systems..
• Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide management with strategic insights.
• Ensure professionalism, accountability, and target achievement across the sales team.
Skills and qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience in sales management or commercial leadership.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, planning, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a target-driven environment.
• Familiarity with local market dynamics is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of sales systems, reporting, and market development.
