Job Description for Sales & Customer Care Representative
Job Title: Sales & Customer care Representative
Reports To: Sales and Marketing Manager
Location: Garowe, Puntland, Somalia
Role Purpose
Support the sales function by driving sales activities and providing excellent customer care. The Sales Representative is responsible for engaging and convincing potential buyers, guiding them through the sales process, and closing deals smoothly. This includes managing first-contact communication, maintaining accurate property listings, coordinating viewings, and ensuring every client has a positive experience at the sales center. The role also contributes to market research and provides timely insights to management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Client Engagement
• Lead generation support: Assist senior agents in sourcing and qualifying leads (phone, online inquiries, walk-ins); capture every lead and touchpoint in the CRM.
• Client interaction: Manage first-level communication with buyers/tenants, answer basic queries, pre-qualify (budget, timeline, financing readiness), and schedule site viewings/tours.
• Property listings: Create, update, and maintain listings across the company CRM, realestate portals, and social media (photos, specifications, availability, pricing/payment plans); remove sold/blocked units the same day.
• Market research: Track competitor offerings, pricing, and absorption trends; compile concise weekly insights and recommendations for the manager.
• Sales closing: Convince and guide buyers through the decision-making process, address objections, and close sales deals smoothly while ensuring customer satisfaction.
2. Customer Care (Sales Center)
• Offer hospitality (tea/coffee/water), keep meeting rooms ready, and coordinate access to show units with site/security.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; prepare viewing packs/brochures and keep the waiting area tidy and stocked.
• Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp, and email; route to the right person and provide basic project information (location, unit types, price ranges, payment plans).
Reporting & Admin
• Daily CRM log: new leads, calls, follow-ups, and showings.
• Weekly pipeline update: leads → qualified → viewings → bookings.
• Maintain viewing packs, basic KYC, and brochure materials.

Skills and qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Business/Marketing or 2–3 years’ sales experience (real estate preferred).
• Fluency in English & Somali (Arabic is a plus).
• Proficient with WhatsApp Business and a CRM.
• Ability to read basic floor plans and payment plans.
