B.   Job Description

• Develop and design bridge structures using industry-standard software and methodologies
• Prepare engineering design calculations for structural systems involving steel, reinforced concrete and masonry, riprap, gabions, etc.
• Assist with work plans and deliverables and ensure adequacy of scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure bridge integrity and compliance with regulations.
• Create detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Controlling & supervising all structural works on site.
• Participate in construction site meetings.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
• Prepare project reports, schedules, and budgets.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards, codes, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the public regarding project progress and issues.

A.   Requirements and skills

·         Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering (master’s degree in Bridge Engineering preferred).

·         Proven working experience as Bridge Engineer (10 years’ experience)

·         Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, Quantity Takeoffs, MIDAS Civil, CSI Bridge, Dlubal, knowledge of concrete technology, etc.

·          Extremely proficient in the English language.

·         People oriented and results driven.

·         Strong knowledge of bridge design codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocode, BS).

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·         Strong project management and organizational abilities.

·         Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
