Develop detailed implementation plans and monitor project progress against
agreed targets.
Ensure timely execution of activities while maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate project teams and support field implementation.
Identify implementation risks and recommend practical mitigation measures.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor regulations.
2. Project Development and Proposal Writing
Contribute Development of high-quality project proposals.
Support Preparation of concept notes for new funding opportunities.
Develop detailed work plans and implementation schedules.
Draft comprehensive Terms of Reference (ToRs) for consultants, volunteers,
workshops, assessments, trainings, meetings, and events.
Prepare logical frameworks, activity plans, implementation schedules, and
budgets in collaboration with head of program and finance teams.
Support resource mobilization initiatives and donor engagement.
Conduct desk reviews and background research to support programme design.
Contribute to strategic planning and organizational programme development
3. Coordination of Workshops, trainings and events
Plan and coordinate workshops, conferences, trainings, community dialogues,
awareness campaigns, meetings, and learning events.
Develop agendas, training manuals, facilitation guides, participant materials,
attendance tools, evaluation forms, and event reports.
Coordinate logistics, procurement, venue arrangements, participant registration,
and documentation.
Ensure effective facilitation and quality implementation of all events.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain effective coordination with government ministries, donors, UN agencies,
NGOs, community leaders, and project partners.
Organize coordination meetings and working groups.
Strengthen collaboration with community advisory groups, youth networks,
women leaders, elders, and religious leaders.
Represent SOFHA during meetings and technical forums when delegated.
5. Capacity building
Coordinate training programmes for staff, volunteers, peer educators, and
community structures.
Assess training needs and develop capacity-building plans.
Supervise facilitators and consultants during training activities.
Ensure high-quality learning outcomes
6. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL)
Coordinate baseline, midline, and endline assessments.
Monitor project indicators and work plans.
Support data collection, verification, analysis, and reporting.
Document lessons learned, best practices, and success stories.
Participate in project reviews and learning events.
7. Reporting and Documentation
Prepare high-quality monthly, quarterly, annual, and donor reports.
Prepare activity reports, mission reports, workshop reports, meeting minutes, and
briefing papers.
Maintain complete project documentation and filing systems.
Ensure timely submission of reports according to donor deadlines
Ensure proper documentation of all project activities
8. Administration and Financial Coordination
Work closely with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure timely
processing of project expenditures and procurements.
Monitor project spending against approved budgets.
Prepare activity budgets, procurement requests and payment requests,
Ensure compliance with donor regulations and SOFHA financial procedures.
Verify supporting documentation for project expenditures and activities.
9. Safeguarding, Protection and Risk management
Promote safeguarding, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and
protection principles throughout project implementation.
Ensure confidential and ethical handling of GBV-related information.
Support implementation of survivor-centered approaches in all interventions.
Identify project risks and contribute to mitigation measures.
Ensure compliance with SOFHA safeguarding policies and donor requirements.
Skills and qualifications
Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Project Management, Social Sciences,
Development Studies, Business Administration, International Development,
Education, or a related field.
Master's degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of 3-4 years of progressively responsible experience in project
coordination and project management,
Proven experience managing donor-funded NGO projects.
Demonstrated experience in proposal writing and resource mobilization.
Experience preparing concept notes, work plans, ToRs, donor reports, event
coordination and facilitator skills
Experience coordinating workshops, trainings, conferences, and community
events.
Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, or development
organizations.
Strong understanding of SRHR, gender, youth development, child protection,
community engagement, and humanitarian programming is highly desirable
