Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Hargeisa, Somaliland
Employment Type: Full-time, one year contract inclusive of three-month probationary
period. Contract extendable subject to performance evaluation.

Position Summary
We are seeking a well-mannered, professional, and compassionate Receptionist to
serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will
demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to always
maintain professionalism.
Female candidates will be given priority for this position.
Key Responsibilities
• Greeting patients and visitors warmly and professionally
• Manage front desk operations, appointments, and patient inquiries
• Answer and direct phone calls accurately and courteously
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff as needed
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming

Requirements
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (hospital or clinic
experience preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-presented, polite, and respectful demeanor
• Strong organizational and basic computer skills
• Ability to handle patients with kindness, empathy, and discretion
• Calm under pressure
• Respectful and culturally sensitive
