Summary of position

Structural engineers are primarily concerned with designing and constructing buildings and structures that are safe and capable of withstanding the elements to which they will be exposed, as well as improving the structural integrity of existing buildings.

Responsibilities:

preparing reports, designs, and drawings.

making calculations about loads and stresses. selecting appropriate construction materials. providing technical advice.

obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval.

Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine design.

Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel.

Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, plus minimum of two years of relevant work experience

Proficient with AutoCAD

Good written and verbal communication abilities, including preparing and giving presentations.

Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control,

regulatory  approvals etc.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills within the high-level accuracy in calculating design.

Excellent management skills to ensure project deadline met.

Knowledge of mop creation software and photo imaging software Leadership skills to effectively manage deserve groups of

professional working on one. Project.
