Finance Professional for ERP and Core Banking

Dahabshiil Money Transfer (DMT) is undertaking a significant business transformation through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Core Banking systems implementation. We are seeking a highly professional Chartered Accountant that will work with a team of professionals to achieve the Finance Transformation objective of the company. Reporting to the ERP PM for the ERP activities and CFO for the Core Banking activities, the incumbent will work with the broader departmental levels, the project teams, and end-users in planning, developing, and implementing these transformational projects.

Major Responsibilities

This position is responsible for understanding the finance processes and converting them into ERP and Core Banking processes while ensuring compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements by having the following roles:

• Contributing to the functional and technical designs, prototyping, and process design stages of implementations (including scenario design, flow mapping).
• Collaborate between end-users and the development team to develop and propose solutions that meet the company’s objective as well as user needs
• Supporting configurations, customization, reports and interfaces, testing and user training.
• Preparing and delivering end-user workshops that aim to improve capacity of the finance team in terms of IFRS and technology.
• Improve operational systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
• Review and assess DMT’s business processes, policies, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Accounting
• Professional Qualification in accounting such as CFA, ACCA, CMA is a must
• Minimum of three years relevant work experience
• Proficiency in MS office especially excel (ERP & Core Banking experience is an added advantage)
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Proven ability to train others
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
