Position Title: Dental Assistant

Location 
Sidra Dental Hospital
Hargeisa, Somaliland

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and minor surgical treatments

Prepare patients, instruments, and materials for dental procedures

Maintain strict infection control, sterilization, and hospital hygiene standards

Record and update patient medical and dental information accurately

Monitor patient comfort and basic vital signs during procedures as required

Manage dental equipment, supplies, and proper biomedical waste disposal

Take care of Dental Reception as well
(including and not limited to follow-up calls, appointments, managing cash etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution

Valid Nursing license from NHPC

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience

Strong clinical knowledge with effective patient communication skills

Proficiency in English Language

Ability to respect hierarchy, follow medical protocols, and work effectively within a team

Ability to work in rotational shifts

Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
