Dahabshiil Electronics is a trading company. It imports and exports goods while also providing various related services.

Summary

The Accounts Officer is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled, and preparing on-demand reports. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable and expenses management.

·        Prepare and record petty cash expenses.

·        Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

·        Process payments to concerned parties.

·        Collect payments from customers.

·        Prepare monthly reports and submit to head office.

·        Assist with the preparation of year end closings.

Skills And Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·        Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar role.

·        Hands-on experience with ODOO ERP is required.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

·        Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

·        Strong organizational and time-management skills.

·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

·        Capacity to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
