1. Role Overview Dahabshiil Motors is seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive General Technician to join our workshop team. General Auto Technician is responsible for performing general automotive repairs and maintenance services. The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition and to customer satisfaction Department: Operation Department Position: General AUTO TECHNCIAN ( 4positions)

2. Key Responsibilities • Mechanical Repairs: Perform general repair tasks including engine overhauls (petrol and diesel), suspension systems, brake systems, and transmission repairs. • Routine Maintenance: Conduct oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid level checks to maintain vehicle longevity. • Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Utilize specialized tools to assess vehicle issues and determine the most effective solutions to restore functionality. • Specialized Servicing: Perform professional wheel alignment and balancing using advanced alignment machinery. • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications, visual inspections, and safety guidelines. • Operational Efficiency: Maintain dealership productivity by meeting "Standard Repair Time" (SRT) targets while adhering to safety regulations and workspace organization. • Technical Communication: Explain complex mechanical faults and repair recommendations to Service Advisors clearly to facilitate transparent customer reporting. • Documentation: Accurately complete repair orders, documenting all work performed, parts used, and preventive maintenance recommendations. 

 Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certifications:

• Formal Qualification: Minimum of a Certificate in Automotive Engineering or Automotive Systems. • Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Experience:

• Years of Experience: 4–10 years of experience in general repairs and maintenance  Functional Expertise: • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of automotive systems, tools, and repair techniques, including the ability to partially or fully disassemble and reassemble engines. • Independence & Detail: Proven ability to work independently with high attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Service Excellence: Customer service-oriented approach with the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and clients. • Engine overhaul Skill: ability to partially or fully disassembly and reassemble engines diesel and petrol to fully working condition • General repair skills. Should be able to perform repairs on Transmission, Suspension, Brakes system, Cooling systems and other vehicle systems with high degree of accuracy and guarantee of work
