Principal, Teaching Staff, Students, Parents
Key Duties and Responsibilities
● Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Somali, Arabic, and Tarbiya.
● Prepare weekly lesson plans, classwork, homework, and assessments.
● Teach reading, writing, grammar, speaking, and comprehension skills.
● Promote Islamic manners, discipline, honesty, and respect.
● Use activity-based teaching methods, visuals, storytelling, games, and practical learning.
● Support students according to their individual learning pace and ability.
● Maintain a safe, clean, positive, and organized classroom environment.
● Monitor student progress and provide regular reports to school leadership and parents.
● Participate in assemblies, school programs, meetings, and events.
● Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve learning standards.
● Follow all school values, safeguarding standards, and professional expectations.

Skills and qualifications
Skills and Qualifications
● Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field preferred.
● Strong Somali and Arabic language proficiency.
● Knowledge of Tarbiya / Islamic Studies.
● Previous teaching experience preferred.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to plan engaging and structured lessons.
● Good classroom management ability.
● Understanding of child safeguarding and welfare.

7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
