Urgent Recruitment: Af-Somali Speaking Enumerators for Assessment in Jigjiga

Frontieri Consult PLC seeks qualified Af-Somali Speaking Enumerators for an upcoming project in Jigjiga, Somali Region, Ethiopia.

Open Positions:

• 40 Quantitative Data Collectors
• 10 Supervisors
• 10 Qualitative Data Collectors

Key Details:

• Location: Jigjiga, with travel to Kebribeyah Refugee Camp and other designated locations
• Training Date: March 24, 2025
• Training Location: Jigjiga
• Duration: Short-term

Responsibility:

• Attend training sessions and ensure a clear understanding of the data collection process.
• Familiarize with the questionnaire and data collection tools before field deployment.
• Ensure proper use and safekeeping of field materials and equipment.
• Conduct interviews and data collection as per assigned targets and guidelines.
• Plan efficiently to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with accuracy.
• Ensure data quality by conducting regular spot checks and validations.
• Report daily progress on completed interviews and any challenges faced.
• Synchronize collected data and address any data quality issues promptly.
• Follow up on rejected interviews and make necessary corrections.
• Participate in daily debriefing sessions to discuss findings and challenges.
• Maintain professionalism and represent Frontieri with integrity in all interactions.
• Complete and submit deliverables within the required timeframe

• Fluent in Af-Somali (spoken and written)
• Prior experience in data collection, surveys, or field research
• Strong understanding of refugee and host community dynamics
• Ability to travel within the Somali region
• For supervisors: experience leading field teams is required
