JOB SUMMARY
Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations. Inspects structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipe. May cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand tools and power tools. May assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass and lead, and nonmetals, such as glass, vitrified clay and plastic, using hand and power tools. May repair and maintain plumbing, by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.
Foreman – Possesses all of the journey level skills, having verifiable minimum experience and/or holds an accepted certification, license and/or degree in a specific craft. Usually considered the most experienced, highest skilled professional in their respective field. May provide supervision for a specific craft crew. Requires little or no supervision.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with
the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.
To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will
possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as
necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Skills and qualifications
Basic Job Requirements
High school diploma / GED equivalent preferred. four (4) years to seven (7) years related experience.
Requires the technical skills, job knowledge and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job
functions.
Other Job Requirements
Skilled ROWPU and SAPEN Systems with Plumbing
Candidate must possess State license/certification at time of hire and maintain State license/certification for the duration of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Military or Contingency Operations experience.
