Vacancy position – Medical Director

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Director to ensure the efficient operation of our healthcare facility. The Medical Director's responsibilities include coordinating medical teams, achieving the facility's mission goals, and executing the facility's policies, systems, and agendas. The Medical Director will work to improve the overall care quality of our facility and work to enhance relationships with vendors who work with our facility.

To be a successful Medical Director, you should be dedicated to promoting the trust and professionalism of our facility within the community. You should have good managerial and organizational skills, as well as excellent medical knowledge and training.

Medical Director Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate and evaluate the medical staff, inform the executive director problems that effect efficiency of the medical department.
  • Represent care management in interdepartmental committees decided to meet organizational goals
  • Anticipate and idenfity key source information to analyse problmens clearly and determines creative solutions
  • Assists in quality improvement program including responding to the patient complaints, sanitations, infection control and development of appropriate critaria to address quality improvement standard.
  • Performs monthly chart review
  • Make sound decisions based on all available data
  • Manage use of medical resouces for inpatient and outpatient services including Internal Medicine, Obsgyn, Neorology,General Surgey, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Dental, Ent, Dermatology,Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, ICU, OT,and other related in hospital.
  • Deal effectively with and lead others trogh out compay structure
  • Conduct medical rounds, attend higher management meetings and participate in the inter-rater reliability process
  • Examining and coordinating the facility's activities to guarantee medical quality.
  • Assisting with training, continuing education, and promotion of subordinate medical staff.
  • Managing the facility's budget.
  • Liaising with medical departments and enhancing relationships with vendors.
  • Updating, amending, and replacing medical policies with the advice of the higher managment.
  • Developing cooperation between physicians, paramedics, nurses, and medical departments.
  • Plan, develop, review, update, and approve medical protocols, in conjunction with medical and administrative staff.
  • Validate and monitor adherence to implemented policies, procedures, workflows and processes: identify, recommend and implement improvement initiatives accordingly.
  • Provide backup call coverage
  • Implement action plans in an effective and efficient manner aimed at promoting goals/resolving barrier issues
  • Evaluating and managing any disfunction of medical units.
  • Keeping your medical knowledge, experience, and licenses up to date.

Skills and qualifications

  • A medical degree and board certification in family medicine, emergency care, or occupational health.
  • A license and certification to practice medicine.
  • Sixs or more years' experience in clinical medicine.
  • Four or more years' experience in hospital administration.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Good computer and electronic record skills.
  • Excellent managerial and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills, particularly communication and presentation skills for divers audiances.
