Position Summary
KCG is looking for an Operations Manager for its Head Quarter Mogadishu office. He/she is critical to the firm's growth, development, and sustainability, including but not limited to Business Growth, Engagement Delivery, and Business Continuity of Operations. The Operations Manager's primary job at KCG is to be the Managing Director's "right-hand person," assisting The Executive Team (as needed) in the execution of important strategies. He/she will collaborate closely with the Firm's Management to ensure that the Practice's primary objectives are effectively articulated, understood, and carried out. He/she will contribute to The Firm's daily growth, development, and sustainability, as well as new business acquisition initiatives, while expertly managing the needs of the firm.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage, and perform all back-office support operations
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge in the consulting sector.
- Supports Client Serving Engagement teams on project delivery and Billing.
- Perform financial and business data analysis for decision-making.
- Work with the MD for KCG’s strategy execution, & best practice initiatives.
- Interact and coordinate with the central Sales Enablement marketing, and IT.
- Maintains and supports proposal management systems
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as needed.
- Assists with monthly payable and receivables processing.
- Coordinates expense management (budget to actual variances).
- Complete the required certifications, and licenses needed.
- Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining.
- Supporting Engagement team recruiting new and current client Engagements
Skills and qualifications
- Minimum of a 4-year of degree in Business administration or related faculties.
- MBA preferred with equivalent work experience and education.
- 2+ years of experience, preferably in Management and Operations Consulting
- Ability to lead and motivate teams of individuals to achieve common success.
- Ability to analyze reporting to identify areas of opportunities, and Performance.
- Maintain a professional office appearance and work environment at all times.
- Excellent computer skills and strong proficiency in multiple technical aspects.
- Must have a strong desire to help KCG Clients and related Stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
