TITLE: Digital Health Manager
REPORTS TO: Program Chief of Party
COUNTRY: Somalia
LOCATION: Mogadishu
WORKING HOURS: Regular Hours
PSI is seeking a self-driven and motivated individual who will provide technical oversight to drive the delivery of technology- inspired interventions within the female Health worker program. The duties will include technical support with cross-disciplinary stakeholders on digital health as well as product development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the government in the design, implementation, and monitoring of community health digital tools such as eLearning and DHIS2.
- Actively liaise with the Health Technology experts from the government and partners for convergence on the digital health approaches for the respective program areas.
- Collaborate on the development and monitoring of KPIs that can be routinely tracked either visually or as preferred to assist program managers in measuring health impact.
- Support the government in the development of appropriate dashboards to monitor program activities and train the ministries of health focal points on its development and
- Coordinate digital activities such as training, roll-out, field support, and track progress on a day-to-day operational capacity.
- Identify and escalate project risks that may affect effective project delivery.
- Maintain an inventory of the digital assets that are in use for program implementation.
- Support the chief of party in costing the digital components necessary for the FHW program
- Routinely prepare documentation of digital learnings from project implementation across the various Federal Member States where the program is in implementation.
Skills and qualifications
- in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant discipline.
- Certification in Professional Project Management.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven record of managing complex projects as either a project/product manager, business analyst, or similar role.
- Vast experience in the use of National Program Reporting tools such as DHIS2 and other analytical tools like PowerBi.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments with multi-disciplinary settings.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in writing skills and documentation of learnings.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Somali languages are required.
- Excellent teamwork and facilitation skills
- Willingness to be based within a remote county.
