Site Engineer

Hiring: Site Engineer
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Site Engineer to join our team in Mogadishu, Somalia.
Responsibilities
• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
• Manage labor workforce and site resources efficiently
• Review and verify measurements, materials, and completed works
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control
• Prepare site documentation, reports, and progress updates
• Ensure proper use of construction materials and equipment
• Monitor concrete works, finishing works, and structural activities
• Support procurement by identifying site material requirements
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input
• Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and milestones
• Maintain accurate records of site activities and approvals
• Coordinate surveying and setting-out activities on site
• Inspect workmanship to ensure high construction standards
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities where required

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Previous experience in construction/site supervision preferred
• Proficiency in design and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or related software
• Good knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage site operations
