Tamarso is a fast-growing, ambitious company in Somalia that specializes in commercial and industrial solar energy systems. We are a Somalia-based renewable energy firm with headquarter in Mogadishu. Our organization is dedicated to assisting and inspiring/stimulating medium and big electricity customers in Somalia to adopt renewable energy as a primary energy source. Commercial users such as hotels, large office buildings, universities, boreholes, industries, and grid providers benefit from our holistic, high-quality, and secure hybrid energy and mini-grid solutions.
Purpose of the Position
- Too involved in developing marketing strategies, implementing marketing plans, and developing sales strategies.
- To ensure success as a sale and to have a strong knowledge of modern marketing techniques.
- Plans meetings and trade shows, maintains databases, and prepares report in additional to Implementing marketing and advertising campaigns.
- preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations
- Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to these:
- Answers questions from clients about our products and service benefits.
- Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service.
- Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
- Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with logistic department, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases. Conduct market research and identify consumer trends in the market.
- Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
- Manages relationships with external vendors and customers to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.
- Any other duties assigned by his/her Supervisor
Skills and qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years’ experience in Sales & marketing, especially selling service.
- Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing especially selling service.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
- The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- Ability to make decisions independently and strong problem resolutions skill.
- Demonstrate team management and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of Microsoft Office;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
