Background:

Marwa fertility center is specialist clinic exclusive for reproductive medicine, and committed to helping patients struggling with fertility challenges. Marwa fertility center has been operating in Mogadishu since 2020.

Marwa fertility center is looking for qualified candidate to fill the vacant position of Senior laboratory technician in Marwa fertility center.

Overall job responsibilities:

The goal is to optimize lab procedures and succeed in producing reliable and important results that can be used to make a difference.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory examinations as per clinician’s request
• Ensure that laboratory tests are perfumed accurately and timely.
• Collect and labels urine, stool, blood, and sperm samples for different test following national, and international biosafety standards.
• Monitor and supervise proper storage, and usage of laboratory reagents.
• Ensure that standard operation procedures are followed all times.
• Maintain laboratory machines in good order
• Ensure proper collection and disposal of laboratory medical wastes
• Application First in-first out, and first expired-first out in stock management.
• On request perform any duty as directed by the supervisor

• Advanced degree of laboratory
• Registered as a laboratory technician
• Minimum 3 years of experience in laboratory
• Demonstrate proficiency in Somali and English languages
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, power point)
• High commitment and ability to work under pressure
