Program Overview

The Merit Advisory IT Internship is a 6-month, full-time, structured program designed to provide hands-on experience in real-world technology projects.

Interns will not be observers—they will actively contribute to:

• Software development
• System implementation (ERP, Odoo-based systems)
• Technical support and deployment
• Process and tool development

The program combines:

• Structured learning (first phase)
• Practical, project-based execution (second phase)

Key Learning Areas

Interns will gain exposure to:

1. Software Development

• Backend and frontend fundamentals
• API design and integration
• Debugging and system improvement

2. ERP & Systems

• Functional understanding of business systems
• Configuration and implementation support
• Client-based system workflows

3. DevOps & Infrastructure

• Server basics and deployment concepts
• System environments (Dev, UAT, Production)
• Version control (Git-based workflows)

4. Professional Work Discipline

• Task management and reporting
• Documentation standards
• Team collaboration and communication

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Mandatory) in:
• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Software Engineering
• Or related field
• Strong interest in technology, systems, and development
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a structured environment
• Basic understanding of:
• Programming concepts
• Systems or IT fundamentals (preferred, not mandatory)
