Position:Training Facilitator (2 Positions)
Location: Beledweyne, Hirshabbelle, Somalia
Reports to: Project Coordinator
Duration: 3 month contract on a full-time basis. Possible extension subject to funding
Supervises: None.
Background
Hiran Women Development and Family Care (HWD-FC), is a Women-Led, non-profitable an nongovernmental, non-political organization. It is women-led community based organization working for humanitarian Relief in close collaboration with UN Agencies and Intentional Organization, in order to crack down with and cover the needs of the community population effected by the conflict natural disasters and diseases outbreak. HWDFC manage and scale-up intervention in Emergency Humanitarian Respond Relief , Food Security/Livelihood, Health& Nutrition, WASH, protection, Women & Children and continue to focus on similar priority area such as Education, women& Child protection and food insecurity as well as capacity building and empowering of youth and women HWD-FC is committed to reach the vulnerable populations in rural areas and poor urban in the area of the South-central particularly Banadir, Hirshabelle , South West , and Jubaland State-Somalia
Overall Job Purpose
Training Facilitator is responsible for designing and conducting training programs for individuals or groups within an organization. She/He will report to Project Coordinator.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities of Training Facilitator
· Planning and preparing training programs: This includes identifying training needs, developing program objectives and content, and creating training materials and resources.
· . Facilitating training sessions: The Training Facilitator conducts workshops, seminars, or other training sessions, using various techniques to engage participants and create an interactive learning environment.
· Delivering training content: The Training Facilitator presents and explains training material, incorporating different training methods such as presentations, discussions, exercises, or role-plays.
· Providing guidance and support: During training sessions, the Training Facilitator offers guidance and support to participants, answering questions, clarifying concepts, and providing feedback on performance.
· Assessing participant progress: The Training Facilitator evaluates participant comprehension and skill development through assessments, quizzes, or practical exercises.
· Adapting training programs: Based on participant feedback and evaluation results, the Training Facilitator may make necessary adjustments to training content, methods, or materials to enhance learning outcomes.
· Collaborating with stakeholders: The Training Facilitator works closely with managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to understand training needs, align program objectives with organizational goals, and gather feedback for program improvement.

Skills and qualifications
· Previous experience as a Training Facilitator, Training coordination or similar role
· Hands-on experience of program Protection
· Knowledge of traditional and modern educational techniques
· Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
· Excellent reporting writing
· Good communication and organizational skills
· BSc degree in Community Developmental social Work, Organizational Psychology or relevant field.
