POST: Surveillance (CCTV operators)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1.       Secure and protect all company property including buildings, equipment, and product inventory, and all associates by maintaining control for being an eye of the company.

2.       Patrolling and guarding of the site operations assigned

3.       Guarding of all access control points.

4.       Monitoring designated areas via CCTV surveillance camera system.

5.       Supervisors allocate duties to all guards and report to the security office.

6.       Answer telephone calls and VHF (radio) to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during working hours and non-working hours or when the switchboard is closed, failed to do so action will be taken against such individual.

7.       Maintain daily inspections of the CCTV surveillance camera system.

8.       Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of daily fault reports of the CCTV surveillance system and reported to the supervisor and/or maintenance contractor to maintain 24-hour operational functionality.

9.       Maintain confidentiality of recorded CCTV subjects, images and material by only allowing authorized personnel accessing the CCTV Control Room as per local law requirement.

10.   Ensure that fire and safety equipment are in their designated place.

11.   Ensure that doors, windows and gates of all areas not in use are locked and secured.

12.   Ensure prompt response to all emergency activations such as fire indications, report of safety hazardous incidents and maintenance demands on the property.

13.   Controls the Time Office by: helping site security colleagues logging in and out.

14.   Perform all tasks consistently in line with the site security standards.

15.   Treat guests and colleagues in a polite and courteous manner.

16.   Adhere to all legal and statutory requirements.

17.   Complete all paperwork and reports as necessary and other duties as may be assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1.       PHYSICAL FITNESS AND WELL SECURITY TRAINED

2.       Minimum certificate in security operations

3.       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

4.       Willingness and ability to work weekends if needed.

5.       Current first aid certificate

6.       Clean Criminal Record (Recent Criminal Record Certificate
