JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Location: Garowe, Puntland, Somalia
Reports to: Finance & Administration Officer
Type: Full-time
Position Overview
The Junior Accountant supports the finance team in ensuring accurate financial records, efficient reporting, and transparent cash management.
This role requires diligence, precision, and a commitment to maintaining Emaad’s reputation for financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledgers.
Prepare reconciliations for bank, supplier, and client accounts.
Process invoices, payments, and petty cash with strict adherence to internal policies.
Assist in preparing monthly financial summaries and project cost reports.
Support payroll and expense management activities.
Maintain orderly documentation of all financial records for audit and compliance purposes.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
1–3 years of accounting experience.
Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
