Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Agronomist – Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will combine strong agronomic expertise with marketing and customer engagement skills to promote Ugub Agrovet’s products and services to farmers, cooperatives, and agro-dealers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell agricultural inputs and equipment to farmers and agro-dealers.

  • Provide on-farm technical advice, training, and demonstrations.

  • Conduct field visits to assess crop performance and recommend practical solutions.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to achieve monthly sales targets.

  • Gather market intelligence and share feedback to support business planning.

  • Maintain records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory levels.

Skills and qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, veterinary, Agribusiness, Agricultural Extension, or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in agronomy, veterinary, irrigation, farm advisory, or agricultural input sales.

  • Excellent understanding of crop production, soil fertility, and pest management.

  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently.

  • A motorcycle or vehicle license is an advantage.
