Job Title: Appliance Repair Technician Full job description

Martisoor Hotel looking for a highly skilled appliance Repair Technician to perform all repairs, installation, and maintenance duties. As an Appliance Repair Technician, you will repair appliances such as washers, dryers, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves and refrigerators. Furthermore, you will repair damaged or malfunctioning hotel appliances as well as install and maintain functioning appliances. Experience in elevator (lift) maintenance and operating an electricity generator will be an asset.

Roles and Responsibilities

·         Examining the hotel's appliances and identifying the cause of appliance breakdowns.

·         Performing maintenance work on hotel's appliances.

·         Repairing or replacing defective or damaged appliance components upon approval from the management.

·         Advising hotel employees on how to use appliances correctly.

·         Installing various large appliances for the hotel, such as washers, wall ovens, and stoves.

·         Maintaining an accurate record of all items/parts used to repair, replace, or maintain appliances.

Basic qualifications

·         High school diploma

·         Appliance Service Technician training or certification.

·         Proven experience repairing, installing, and maintaining kitchen appliances.

·         The ability to use various hand tools.

·         The ability to stand for extended periods.

·         The ability to lift heavy objects.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills.

·         Effective communication skills.

Preferred qualifications: Able to work with diverse group of employees and able to resolve complex issues.
