Job Title: Cashier (Female)

Location: Hargeisa, Somaliland
Reporting to: Finance or Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

One of our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused female cashier who is skilled in handling cash transactions, customer service, and billing systems. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers and must demonstrate excellent hospitality, communication, and problem-solving skills. She will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately

• Issue receipts and maintain proper transaction records

• Operate and manage the billing system efficiently

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone or in person

• Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve any concerns

• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

• Report discrepancies or system errors promptly

• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and presentable at all times

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field

• Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, call center, or billing system management is highly preferred. Minimum 1 year experience.

• Proficiency in using billing or POS systems

• Excellent communication skills in Somali and English

• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, POS software, etc.)

• Honest, polite, organized, and detail-oriented
