our leadership team as Head of Commercial.
Position Summary
The Head of Commercial is responsible for driving business growth, profitability, and
market expansion through effective commercial leadership. The role oversees sales
performance, customer relationship management, pricing strategies, contract negotiations,
business development initiatives, and overall commercial operations to ensure sustainable
revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy
• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives and
growth targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer requirements.
• Prepare annual commercial plans, sales forecasts, and revenue growth strategies.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing structures, and market positioning.
• Sales & Revenue Management
• Lead and drive sales performance across all business units and product lines.
• Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Develop pricing strategies and discount frameworks to maximize profitability.
• Monitor sales pipelines, conversion rates, and order fulfillment performance.
• Collaborate with sales teams to improve customer acquisition and retention.
Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and business
partners.
• Lead high-value customer negotiations, contract discussions, and dispute
resolutions.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards and satisfaction levels.
• Develop customer loyalty and retention programs.
Contract & Tender Management
• Review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and agreements.
• Lead tender submissions, quotations, and commercial proposals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements.
• Monitor contract performance and profitability.
Financial & Business Performance
• Monitor commercial budgets, sales margins, and overall profitability.
• Prepare reports on revenue, gross profit, sales trends, and market performance.
• Analyze business performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control activities.
Team Leadership
• Coach Sales Manager and Customer Support Manager
• Lead, mentor, and develop commercial, sales, and business development teams.
• Establish KPIs and performance targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and team meetings.
• Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
Strategic responsibilities
• Develop annual commercial strategy.
• Lead market expansion initiatives.

Skills and qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Sales, or a
related field.
• MBA or Master’s Degree would be desirable.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in commercial management, sales
leadership, or business development.
• Strong knowledge of sales strategy, pricing, contract management, and market
analysis.
• Experience within the automotive, retail, trading, or service industry is highly
desirable.
