Job description

We're Hiring — Global Automotive Garage

Global Automotive is expanding its service garage team and is looking for two experienced professionals to lead daily operations: a Workshop Manager and an Accountant. Full role responsibilities are below.

Skills and qualifications

WORKSHOP MANAGER — Full-time · On-site, Garage

Oversees the day-to-day running of the service garage — not a mechanic role, but the operational lead responsible for scheduling, staff, quality, and customer experience across the entire workshop.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Plan and supervise daily workshop operations, job cards, and service schedules

·         Assign and manage the work of mechanics and technicians; oversee shifts and workload

·         Review and inspect completed jobs for quality control before vehicle handover to customers

·         Handle customer communication — service updates, estimates, and complaint resolution

·         Coordinate with parts suppliers and manage spare-parts and tools inventory

·         Enforce workshop safety standards and equipment maintenance

·         Monitor turnaround time, workshop costs, and team performance; report to management

·         Train and mentor staff on service standards and customer-service expectations

ACCOUNTANT — Full-time · On-site, Garage

Manages the garage's finances — from daily bookkeeping to reporting — keeping Global Automotive's accounts accurate, compliant, and up to date.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping: invoices, receipts, payments, and expense records

·         Process supplier payments and manage customer billing and collections

·         Handle payroll and staff expense reimbursements

·         Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily cash flow

·         Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management

·         Ensure tax compliance and timely filing of statutory returns

·         Track workshop revenue and costs; flag discrepancies and budget variances

·         Liaise with banks, auditors, and suppliers on financial matters
