seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Finance Officer to strengthen
our Finance Department.
Job Purpose
The Finance Officer will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations
by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing financial
reports, ensuring compliance with company policies, and assisting with budgeting, cash
management, and statutory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
• Process daily financial transactions accurately and promptly.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper accounting entries.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and cash reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare payment vouchers, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely supplier and employee payments.
Reporting
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in preparing management reports and financial analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets.
Budget & Cost Control
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor departmental expenditures.
• Track operational costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Analyze financial variances and provide explanations.
Compliance & Internal Controls
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax and statutory requirements.
Payroll Support
• Assist in payroll preparation and reconciliation.
• Verify payroll data before processing.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
Banking & Cash Management
• Monitor daily cash flow.
• Prepare bank deposits and payment schedules.
• Liaise with banks on routine financial matters.
• Monitor petty cash and ensure proper accountability.
ERP & System Management
• Record financial transactions in the ERP system (Odoo experience is an added
advantage).
• Ensure accurate coding of expenses and revenues.
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes.
Other Duties
• Assist the Finance Manager with financial planning and analysis.
• Provide financial information to management when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Skills and qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are an added
advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in the automotive industry is an added advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
