Job description
Brand development is a strategic process of creating and distinguishing our company's image and services from competitors. Developments includes aligning our brands with company strategic objectives, communicating our brand to our target market and updating or strengthening our brand as necessary.
A Brand Manager is responsible for adapting a brand strategy for a company's target market.
As the 'brand guardian', brand managers maintain brand integrity, brand uniqueness and keeping them innovated across all company marketing initiatives and communications, and may manage a portfolio of services
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and prepares a research based brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term
- Identify research needs, Conduct consumer and market research and analyze research in order to identify opportunities
- Assisting with financial and marketing team to setting price for existing brands and new service launches
- Establish and maintain brand development budgets
- Identify how our brand is currently positioned in the market and develops innovative ideas on the existing brands and new business opportunities
- Develop marketing campaigns aimed at communicating our brand messages
- Planning of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media
- Works closely with Marketing team to promote brand innovation and developments
- Communicate our brand personality internally and align company around foundational ideas
- Measure and report on success of marketing campaigns concerned brand developments
- Anticipate consumer trends and keep brand up to date
- Stay current on market trends and competitive activity
- Define and manage the brand communication strategy using a variety of media
- Competitor and customer insights analysis
- Analysis of sales forecasts and relevant financial and reporting on sales
- Works cross functionally with other units and departments
- Directly reports to Business Development Director
Brand Development Manager Skills:
Analytical skills and attention to detail
An understanding of trends and an ability to respond to customers’ wishes
Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
Team working skills
The ability to manage and allocate budgets
Written and verbal communication skills
Experience with and an understanding of market research
Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
An ability to think strategically and come up with campaigns
Skills and qualifications
A degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields
3-5yrs of Management experience in the areas of project management, marketing or business development
