Position: English Language Instructor

Reports To: Dean / Head of Department
Position Summary
Acceptance and Change University (ACU) is seeking a qualified and committed English Language Instructor to join its faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction, supporting student learning and academic development, and contributing to the academic mission and activities of the University.
Key Responsibilities
· Teach English language and communication courses at the university level.
· Develop lesson plans, lectures, exercises, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
· Teach grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, and academic communication as required.
· Assess student language proficiency and provide individualized feedback where appropriate.
· Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and academic records.
· Use appropriate teaching technologies and learning materials to support student engagement.
· Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, academic activities, and student support.
· Promote professional, academic, and effective English communication among students.
Skills and qualifications
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
· Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
· Excellent written and spoken English.
· Strong presentation, communication, and classroom-management skills.
· Ability to teach students with different levels of English proficiency.
