Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customs Clearance, Freight Forwarding, and Procurement Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the customs clearance process, coordinating with freight forwarders, and procuring goods and services for our organization.

Responsibilities:

•  Manage the customs clearance process for all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to arrange for the transportation of goods to and from our facilities
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to procure goods and services for our organization, negotiating contracts and pricing as needed
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, customs documentation, and procurement transactions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all shipments and procurement activities align with organizational goals and objectives
• Stay up-to-date on changes in customs regulations, freight forwarding practices, and procurement trends to ensure compliance and efficiency
•  Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed
• Any other duties assigned by the General Manager

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, and procurement
• Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
• Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation is a plus
