Among the services of the firm is recruitment services for companies. Haaneed Consulting is recruiting healthcare facility manager for a third-party entity  as per the details and information below:

Job Title: Healthcare Facility Manager 

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Hargeisa, Somaliland

Reports to: Executive Director

Position Summary:

The Manager oversees the healthcare Centre operations including strategic planning, financial management, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision. Working closely with the Executive Director. The Manager focuses on higher-level planning, resource allocation, and ensuring the center meets its financial, regulatory, and service goals. This role is pivotal in driving long-term growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering a patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate should be a strong leader with experience in healthcare administration, financial oversight, and strategic implementation. Other than the Executive Director, he will also work closely with senior management to align the center’s operations with its objectives while supporting the departmental heads in optimizing daily workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Implementation:

- Develop and execute strategic initiatives: Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate long-term strategies for growth, positioning, and service enhancement.

- Monitor performance metrics: Analyze financial, operational, and patient satisfaction data to identify areas of improvement and drive decision-making.

- Lead special projects: Oversee the planning and execution of projects such as expanding services, upgrading technology, or launching new patient programs.

- Analysis: Conduct research to inform development efforts, ensuring the center remains committed to its excellent services and aligned with community healthcare needs.

 

2. Financial Oversight:

- Budget management: Develop and monitor the center’s annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

- Cost control: Implement financial controls and processes to minimize unnecessary expenditures without affecting service quality.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Policy Development:

- Ensure compliance: Oversee adherence to relevant healthcare regulations set by NHPC and other relevant regulatory bodies.

- Policy management: Develop and update policies to ensure compliance with healthcare laws, data protection standards, and workplace safety protocols.

- Audit readiness: Prepare the center for internal and external audits, coordinating with the departmental heads to ensure that all documentation and processes are in place.

4. Staff Supervision & Leadership:

- Supervise administrative staff: Oversee HR functions such as recruitment, training, and evaluation of administrative personnel (e.g., receptionists).

- Support the Departments’ heads: Provide guidance and oversight, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to manage day-to-day operational tasks.

- Professional development: Encourage continuous learning and professional development opportunities for the administrative and operational teams.

 

 

5. Collaboration with departmental heads:

- Provide strategic direction: Offer guidance and mentorship to the departmental heads, ensuring alignment between daily operations and the center's broader strategic goals.

- Resource allocation: Ensure that the heads have adequate resources—staff, technology, and funding—to execute their responsibilities effectively.

- Joint problem-solving: Collaborate to resolve any issues that may arise, such as workflow bottlenecks, patient complaints, or equipment failures, ensuring timely resolution without micromanaging.

6. Patient Relations & Experience:

- Enhance patient experience: Develop initiatives aimed at improving the patient experience, working closely with the departmental heads to ensure patient care processes are seamless.

- Address escalated issues: Serve as a point of contact for resolving patient complaints that require administrative oversight or complex solutions.

- Community outreach: Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to strengthen the center’s presence in the community and enhance patient engagement.

Skills and qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

- 5+ years of administrative management experience, preferably in a healthcare facility

- Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and policy development in a healthcare setting.

- Familiarity with healthcare regulations set by NHPC and other relevant regulatory bodies.

- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

- Experience with healthcare IT systems (EMR, PACS, RIS, etc.).
