Purpose of the Job

 To Lead and coordinate the marketing activities of all Branches within the branch, support the sustainable and profitable growth of the Bank and improve the efficiency of the branch operation and resource utilization by enhancing capacity building in all form.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

• Shall plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the district office and branches.
• Shall ensure that effective and efficient operation is taking place in branches.
• Shall coach and support branches and district office staff in implementing the bank’s procedure, provide the required assistance and on-the-job training to enable them to have the necessary knowledge, skill and the right attitude in abiding by the procedure.
• Shall enable employees under the district to translate operation to strategic outlooks.
• Shall ensure that appropriate risk identification, measurement and management is in place in transactional activities of the district office and branches.
• Shall ensure that rectifications are done timely for discrepancies and comments identified through audit findings/both by internal audit process and branch auditors.
• Continuously assesses the competency gap of employees of the district office and branches and arrange the appropriate need-based training programs in collaboration with the Human Resource Management to fill skill gaps.
• Shall ensure that all performers are discharging their duties and responsibilities in line with the procedure and take the necessary corrective action on those who contravene the procedure in consultation with Director- Human Resource Management.
• Shall ensure that operational transactions are done in accordance with this procedure and books of accounts of the bank are maintained to the desired quality.
• Ensures that suspense items are settled timely, and reconciliation is done regularly at branches.
• Shall ensure that operational activities are done to the satisfaction of customers without compromising the interest of the bank.
• Addresses customers’ complaints arising from operational activities on a timely manner.
• Shall actively engage with stakeholders of the bank and create and maintain a network of high-level contacts with key stakeholders.
• Shall execute various environmental and marketing studies in the coverage area and recommend actions to the Head Office.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, the management or other Business-related fields.
• 10 years of banking experience which 3 years of managerial experience is required.
• Full professional qualifications are desirable
• Must be confident, self-starter, an independent thinker and have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, team oriented.
