Role Overview

The Clinical Nursing Manager will oversee, coordinate, and optimize all nursing operations across the hospital.

You will lead our nursing staff, ensure strict adherence to clinical safety protocols, and champion high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and schedule nursing teams across all wards.

Quality Assurance: Implement patient care standards and track clinical outcomes.

Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MoH) nursing regulations. Training: Design and execute continuous professional development (CPD) programs for nursing staff. Qualifications & Experience

Shared Core Competencies for All Roles

Language Capabilities: Proficiency in English, Somali and Amharic is highly valued for day-to-day operations and community engagement.

Cultural Competence: Deep respect for and understanding of the local community values in the Somali Region. Digital Literacy: Comfort using Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) and standard office software.

Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing; a master’s degree in nursing or healthcare administration is highly preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a hospital setting.

Licensure: Valid professional license from the Ethiopian Ministry of Health or relevant regional bureau.

Skills: Strong leadership, conflict resolution, crisis management, and fluency in Somali, Amharic and English is required.
