Role Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Radiology Manager to oversee our diagnostic imaging department. You will lead a team of technologists, manage daily clinical operations, ensure strict radiation safety compliance, and maintain the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Department Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and mentor radiology technologists and administrative staff.
• Operations Management: Oversee daily workflows for X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound services.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain strict compliance with national radiation protection regulations and medical standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate routine servicing, calibration, and troubleshooting of diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Patient Care: Optimize patient throughput while maintaining a compassionate and safe environment.
• Budgeting & Inventory: Monitor department expenses, optimize resource allocation, and manage imaging supplies.

Language Capabilities: Proficiency in English, Somali and Amharic is highly valued for day-to-day operations and community engagement.

Cultural Competence: Deep respect for and understanding of the local community values in the Somali Region. Digital Literacy: Comfort using Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) and standard office software.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical radiography experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Licensure: Registered and licensed to practice by the relevant Ethiopian regulatory authority (e.g., Ministry of Health / EFDA).
• Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with modern digital imaging systems, PACS, and RIS workflows.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, and proven problem-solving abilities.
