OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Medical Director to oversee the clinical and administrative functions of Alami Specialist Hospital. The Medical Director will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while providing strategic leadership across all medical departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Provide strategic direction and oversight for all medical departments to ensure alignment with the hospital’s mission and objectives.
§ Oversee the development and implementation of clinical protocols, guidelines, and policies to maintain high standards of patient care.
§ Supervise and support department heads, ensuring effective management and optimal performance of all medical units.
§ Coordinate with the CEO and senior management to align medical services with organizational goals.
§ Lead initiatives to enhance the quality of care, including patient safety, clinical outcomes, and satisfaction.
§ Oversee continuing medical education programs to foster professionalism among medical staff.
§ Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical practices.
§ Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration to ensure integrated and patient-centered care delivery.
§ Serve as the primary liaison between medical staff and hospital administration.
§ Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for medical departments.
§ Lead emergency response and crisis management efforts related to medical services.
Represent the hospital at external forums, conferences, and professional associations
Skills and qualifications
§ A Master’s degree in Medicine (M.D.) with additional specialization in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related fields.
§ Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical practice experience with at least 4 years in healthcare management or administration.
§ Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
§ Proficiency in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex healthcare systems.
§ Expertise in medical protocols, hospital operations, and regulatory compliance.
